Gentlemen

Mr. Haberman is one weird dude, but the demonstration he does in class is weird even for him. What is in the big blue barrel in front of the class? Everyone gets to hit it with a small club and try to guess. According to Haberman, the student who quessed meat is the closest guesser, but not quite right. When Tommy disappears, Michael, Mixer, and Bones realize they haven't seen him since before Haberman's class. Could Haberman have finally flipped? Could it really have been Tommy in the barrel?

Ten Mile River

By Paul Griffin

Ray and Jose do whatever it takes to survive, steal cars for people, smash windshields so the glass repair guy gets business, fish in the river for food. Living in an abandoned station house in Ten Mile Park in New York City, they are NOT going back to foster care or a juvie detention center. Friends till the end, nothing rocks their friendship, not mutual admiration of the lovely Trini, dead bodies along the riverbank, or Ray’s affection for the stray dogs who adopt them. When the cops bust Jose, Ray is on his own for the first time in his life. Decisions must be made.
